Earth Voices
"Earth Voices" by Bliss Carman (1861-1929) talks about how earth has voices all around us. The littlest thing has an impact on all with the sight as there voice. In lines 33-36 it says how a sun paints the world with light to show its color and that a traveller can know whre he lives with the sight of it.
The Worship Of Nature
The poem i chose was "The Worship of Nature" by John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-192). This poem is about how mankind are the people who appreciate nature. Nature here is known as Mother Earth. She rewards us by giving us trees that help us sustain life. After time passed by we started destroying this planet and Mother Earth didn't like that. So in lines 25 to 28 it says how mankind is being punished with disasterous consequences.
